Japanese Man Locked Up for a Year and Recorded for a TV Show

A Japanese man was stripped naked and shut him in an apartment, alone with no food, furniture, household goods, or entertainment. He was kept there for over a year until he had won $10 000 in prizes by sending in postcards to contests. All his actions in the room were televised on National TV.
